Hoje pela manhã, D. Pimpolha acordou e sossegadamente, tão sossegada que até pensei que estava doente pois com ela é sempre uma excitação, veio até ao nosso quarto dar-nos miminhos. Fui eu que a lembrei que fazia anos e que tinha uma prendinha à sua espera na sala. Lá foi ela até à sala abrir a prenda, um macacão da Lanidor que estava muito apetitoso nos seus 50% off, umas sandálias azuis da Primark super giras, um baton gloss em forma de lollypop e um caderno com corações na capa para ela escrever as suas histórias. Nada de brinquedos, já tinhamos conversado sobre isso, porque D. Pimpolha já é uma senhorita, faz hoje 8 anos. Infelizmente a mamã aqui tem de trabalhar e a festinha ficará para outro dia, mas o bolo, esse estará lá em casa para cantarmos os parabéns e apagar as velas.
No trabalho, uns clientes super simpáticos, sabendo por mim que minha preciosa princesa fazia hoje anos, apareceram com um postal de gatinhos roxo e com umas prendinhas que de certeza vão fazer a delícia da minha bonequinha e uma prancha de body board que encontraram à deriva no mar... (a minha teoria é que os golfinhos fugiram porque queriam ser livres hahahaha )!!!
Por isso hoje, a mamã aqui está feliz!!!

and for those non speaking portuguese.
Today, really early, D. Pimpolha woke up and very quietly, so quietly that i even though she was a bit sick because she is always very loud, she came to our bedroom to cuddle. I was the one to remind her of her birthday and that she had a present in the living room. There she went and open it, she got a very pretty blue overalls with flowers from Lanidor that were 50% off so it was a very good buy, blue sandals from Primark, a lip gloss in the shape of a lollypop, and a notebook full of hearts for her little stories. There were no toys, we had already talked about it, because D. Pimpolha is now a little lady with her 8 years of age. Infortunatly mommy here has to work and so her party with her friends will have to wait, but there will be a cake for us to sing happy birthday and to blow out the candles! At work, special guests from Holland (hi and dank u!!!), knowing that it was her birthday, gave me a cute postcard purple with funny kittens and special presents that i know she will love and this body board that they found at sea, far from the shore... (my theory is that the dolphins wanted to be free hihihihi )!!!
So today, mammy here is very happy!!!
